1. Extreme Wide Shot (EWS) / Establishing Shot

  • Bengali Term: এক্সট্রিম ওয়াইড শট (EWS) / প্রতিষ্ঠার শট
  • Example: The opening shot of a film showing a vast desert to establish the setting. It gives the audience context about the environment before focusing on characters.

2. Wide Shot (WS) / Long Shot (LS)

  • Bengali Term: ওয়াইড শট (WS) / লং শট (LS)
  • Example: A wide shot of a character walking through a crowded market, showing both the person and the surrounding environment in full.

3. Medium Shot (MS)

  • Bengali Term: মিডিয়াম শট (MS)

4. Close-Up (CU)

6. Two-Shot

  • Bengali Term: কাঁধের উপর শট (OTS)

8. Point of View Shot (POV)

15. Zoom

  • Bengali Term: জুম
  • Example: A zoom shot focuses on a character's face as they experience a moment of realization, bringing them closer without moving the camera.
